Our Wedding Catering Services and Process
Some Information About Our Wedding Services:
- We are on the recommended caterer list of all the areas hottest venues, and will be happy to provide you with their floor plans.
- We are a full service caterer; this means we can provide food, staff, and rentals for you entire event.
- We are also available on a limited basis and can provide as much or as little as you like, this means we can do pick ups or deliveries and setups for any number of guests at any location. (Ideas: After wedding brunch, bridal shower, engagement parties, etc.)
- We would love to help you with all phases of event planning and coordination, including arrangement of tents, rentals, linens, etc.
- We would be happy to help you by recommending and coordinating with any and all the vendors you choose.
- We understand the importance of a budget and will do our best to help you stay within it by making suggestions and giving you options that might help.
- We will provide friendly and professional servers, bartenders, and chefs for your event.
- We believe that gratuity is always nice, but never expected and should be left up to the sole discretion of the customer; therefore it is never added to your bill unless you request it.
- We believe in upfront honest pricing and you will not see any surcharges or additional fees tacked onto our bills.
- We believe you should not hire a caterer without first trying their food, we offer a free tastings to our potential customers of their chosen menu at a time convenient for them.
- We believe you should be able to hire any baker you choose and we would love to cut and serve their cake at no additional charge.
- It is our pleasure to serve you and your guests and we will work with all your other vendors to make your day as stress free and memorable as possible.
- The serving staff will setup all the tables, chairs, and everything that goes on the tables for you. We will also handle all breakdown/clean up and trash removal.
- We will provide boxed food for the bride and groom to take with them. The bride and groom never really get to eat, trust me they will be hungry once they are all settled into their honeymoon suite.
- We will have a server bring a tray of the passed hors d’oeuvres for the bride and groom and wedding party so they don’t miss out while taking pictures and any drinks available that they may want.
- We will have a server assigned to the bride and groom. They will not need to go through a buffet line if that is the chosen serving style. We will plate their meal and serve them at their table.
- We are available anytime to discuss your event. We do not charge for any meetings or our experience. We are happy to help you with anything you may need.
- We are fully licensed and insured as an off premise caterer. We have a liquor license and the full capability to help you with any and all bar needs.
General Wedding Planning Process with Sarasota Catering Company and What to Expect:
(At any point in this process we are available to answer any and all questions, please call or email us we are happy to help.)
- Book your venue.
- Estimate the number of expected guests.
- Start thinking about the budget for the reception to include: Food, Beverage, Alcohol, Tables, Chairs, Place Settings, Linens, and Labor.
- Select the serving style you prefer (plated, buffet, family style, etc.).
- Review menus and our website to help you choose your menu or have and idea of types of food you would like to see and we can make recommendations.
- A Proposal is created based on the choices made above.
- If the Proposal meets your needs, move to the next step. If not, we can adjust it as necessary until it does.
- Schedule a tasting (if desired) of your chosen menu and a meeting to go over any other details and questions. If you are happy with the tasting and your proposal, we will create an agreement for you to sign.
- Sign the agreement and attach a $500 deposit to secure your date.
- We will start with a sample timeline and together we will figure out how you want your day to proceed.
- We will meet to choose your linens, chairs, and place settings, create your site plan/map, and talk more about the details of your day.
- A month or two prior to your date we will do a Site Visit together to go over your day and walk through it like we are your guests. This ensures everything is where you expect it and runs smoothly.
- 30 days before your date, 50% of the remaining balance is due.
- 2 weeks prior to your date we will have a meeting to review all that was decided previously and any other details you might have thought of since.
- 7 days prior to your date, the guaranteed guest count is due and your final payment. You really have up until this point to make changes.
- Rest and Relax, we will see you on your Wedding day.
